On the 6th of May students and staff from Pegasus School took part in worldwide ACES day. Project ACES, is an acronym for All Children Exercise Simultaneously, it was created by Len Saunders in 1989 as a method of motivating children to exercise through knowing other children all over the world are taking part too.
It forms part of National Physical Fitness and Sports Month and Physical Education Week.
To enable all the students to take part they were split into groups and members of staff helped them through the ‘agility challenge’, which was developed by the teaching staff and the Occupational Therapist.
The day was such fun they have decided to hold this event every term from now on!
