Pegasus School is situated in the grounds of Caldwell Hall, five miles from Burton on Trent on the borders of Staffordshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire. We provide education and care for children and young people between the ages of 8 and 19 years, who have challenging behaviour and complex communication and learning difficulties. We have places for up to 23 students, all of whom are provided with individualised specialist support.
We are able to offer a range of placement options including:
- 52 weeks residential – Full residential care in our onsite registered children's home.
- 38 week residential – The young person is resident at the school during term time only
- 39 to 51 week residential – Where there is a need to provide additional residential support to meet the needs of the young person and their family.
- Day placements
We have a multi-disciplinary team approach which includes Teachers, Therapists, Care Staff and Specialist Support Staff and parents and guardians. This ensures that all areas of our students' statement are met, any difficulties are addressed quickly and effectively, our students' progress is constantly monitored and we can ensure effective liaison with parents and authorities.
