In order for the recruitment process to suit your requirements, there are a number of ways you can apply for a vacancy:

Student Support Assistants

(depending on qualifications and experience), 37.5 hours per week, 35 days holiday per annum.

Working within the residential setting, you will assist with a range of care; this will include personal care and hygiene as well as supporting the students' needs during liesure activities and school holiday periods. You will be expected to work a shift pattern which will include some sleep-in duties and weekend shifts.

We are looking for people who are willing to undertake a challenge and provide a high standard of care to young people. You don't need qualifications because we provide a full induction and NVQ training programme. The NVQ training programme is a requirement of your probationary period. Experience of working in a similar setting would be anadvantage but is not essential.

Due to national minimum care standards (standard 29.4), all applicants must be 21 years of age or over.

We are seeking an experienced and committed professional to lead and supervise a small team of residential support staff ensuring each shift runs smoothly and effectively. You will initiate day time activities and you will support the personalised development of each resident, helping them to lead a valued and fulfilling life.

Previous experience of working with adults with severe learning difficulties and challenging behaviours is essential along with NVQ3 in Health and Social Care (or a willingness to work towards).
