Alderwasley Hall School are seeking to recruit six Drivers/Escorts to transport our children and young adults on a daily basis. A clean driving license is essential and will be subject to an enhanced check. You will need to have a good working knowledge of the Derbyshire and Midlands area. We are looking for self motivated people who are able to use their own initiative, are flexible, reliable and able to work with our students.
Training will be provided.

Working within the residential setting, you will assist with a range of care; this will include personal care and hygiene as well as supporting the students' needs during liesure activities and school holiday periods. You will be expected to work a shift pattern which will include some sleep-in duties and weekend shifts.
We are looking for people who are willing to undertake a challenge and provide a high standard of care to young people. You don't need qualifications because we provide a full induction and NVQ training programme. The NVQ training programme is a requirement of your probationary period. Experience of working in a similar setting would be anadvantage but is not essential.
Due to national minimum care standards (standard 29.4), all applicants must be 21 years of age or over.

We are seeking an experienced and committed professional to become the Residential Manager at Fairfield House, Bleathwood. With at least 2 years proven experience at a management/supervisory level in care you will develop, lead and manage a small team of dedicated residential care staff whilst supporting the residents and their families.
You will effectively manage every aspect of the care provision within the home and ensure an outstanding service is given to the 6 residents living at Fairfield House. You will be responsible for ensuring your staff are trained, have regular supervision, and you will assist in the recruitment and selection process as and when required. It is therefore essential that you are organised and have excellent communication skills.
You must hold NVQ4 in both Management and Care (or be willing to work towards that level), hold the Registered Managers Award, and have at least 2 years experience of hands on work with people who have a learning disability and challenging behaviours. You must also hold sound knowledge of Care Standards and associated legislation for Adult Care Homes.
