To lead and support a team of up to 4 support staff in providing high quality integrated care and educational opportunities within a rehabilitation context. Previous experience of working within residential childcare and within an effective team is required, as well as a commitment to developing and motivating others. Relevant NVQ 3 is essential and previous supervisory experience would be an advantage.

You will be patient and understanding as you support our service users within a small residential setting, assisting them with all aspects of their personal care and development while promoting choice and independence in the residential home and in the community.
You should have some experience of working with young or vulnerable people within the home or work setting. It is essential that you hold a full clean driving licence, have excellent written report writing skills and you must be able to communicate well with your team and those in our care who have limited communication skills.
A relevant qualification within Health and Social Care is desirable but not essential as full support in achieving this will be given. You must be flexible and willing to work a mixture of early and late shifts that include weekends.
