Referrals and Assessments
Students are admitted in line with our Criteria for Admission. This is students with: Specific Speech and Language Difficulties - Associated Behavioural Difficulties. - Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties - Autistic Spectrum Disorders.
Formal referrals are usually made by an LEA and supported with referral documentation. We also welcome private referrals although an assessment must take place before a parent can name Bladon House School on a child’s statement.
We are able to arrange free, no obligation assessments at short notice.
Our assessments are thorough and honest and are carried out with the Child/young person’s familiar environment, be it school, home or residential provision. We are also able to carry out assessments at Bladon House if most appropriate.
Following the assessment process we will produce a clear written report. If we can meet the needs of the individual we will send a fully costed proposal.
