Mitchells House, one of the Children’s Homes linked to Bladon House School, took delivery of their new vehicle earlier this month.
The Peugeot Eurobus is the first of its type in the SENAD fleet. The vehicle has the driver compartment totally screened off from the rear passenger area, although the driver and passengers are able to communicate by an intercom system. Another part of the safety aspect is the automatic door locking system when the vehicle reaches speeds of over 10mph. The driver has total control over all doors being locked or unlocked. For more comfort the vehicle is fully air conditioned.
