Once again, students at Alderwasley Hall School and Callow Park College have been visited by ‘The Big Bug Man’.
This year they were able to view and touch the superb collection of Reptiles and Amphibians. Martin’s collection included a colourful clown snake that liked to curl around fingers, a chameleon that was shedding its skin, a tree frog that could climb up any surface that Martin put it on, an iguana that kept trying to escape from the room and a rather large rat snake that liked to wrap and curl around our bodies.
This event was a great success, as was the previous one, last year when Martin brought his bug collection into school. Students are already looking forward to seeing Martin next year with any new additions he has in his Bug, Reptile, Mammal, Bird and an Amphibian family.
